Golfpark Bostalsee
Golfpark Bostalsee golf course covers an area of over 86 acres and lies in the heart of the beautiful landscape of the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park, in Northern Saarland. From 2022, the 18-hole golf course will be extended to 18 holes and combines the highest standards both visually and in terms of playing techniques.

Julia Münkle, founder of Fancy Family Escapes, wants to save us hours of searching for the perfect family holiday destination with her ever-growing collection of family-friendly, stylish and sustainable hotels, houses, holiday flats and farms. The former flower and plant nursery in Lisdorf has developed into a company that combines a passion for comprehensive customer advice with the highest quality and craftsmanship in the areas of interior, exterior and garden design.

Goodbye food waste! The foodsharing initiative was created in Berlin in 2012 and is committed to fighting food waste. The foodsharers and foodsavers in the individual cities and regions coordinate and network via an online platform. This allows unwanted and overproduced food to be “saved” in private households and in small and large companies.
Gastfreund
Thanks to Gastfreund, worn-out guest folders with lots of notes and flyers are a thing of the past. The successful company was founded in 2013 as a start-up and now has over 5,000 customers in ten countries. The idea behind Gastfreund: to digitise information about guest rooms, to improve digital communication and guest care, and to market hotel services on a digital platform.
Clean the world
The non-profit organisation “Clean the World” aims to promote the idea of a sustainable recycling of hotel cosmetics. “Clean the World” collects leftover hygiene products from hotels worldwide and turns them into new soaps. They benefit those in need in countries with low hygiene standards.

GreenSign is a seal of approval for the identification of sustainable hotel operations. The sustainability program follows the principle SIMPLE + TRANSPARENT + SUSTAINABLE and is awarded by InfraCert – Institute for Sustainable Development in the Hotel Industry.

Wellness Heaven has been assessing wellness hotels in Europe and Asia since 2006. Only top hotels in the 4* and 5* category are admitted to the Wellness Heaven Guide. The wellness hotels are evaluated using an evaluation matrix that includes over 500 test criteria.

The HOGANEXT quality seal and regional training concept supports the industry on its way into the future and advocates for greater quality in training as a key pillar of the regional tourism economy. It offers trainers and trainees access to events designed specifically for their needs.
